Helping Others Learn IFS

Much of the work of my adult life was searching for ways to heal from severe trauma for myself and my clients. This search took me decades of hard work and there was much wasted effort and time.  IFS is the most potent and respectful model I have found. I want others to have a taste of this early on; so that they might be spared some of this effort.

Of course, IFS won’t be the ideal tool for everyone, but many people can heal more quickly with it. Also, IFS is very valuable in many other fields: Spirituality, education, mediation, conflict resolution, and more. So I want to do what I can to help get the basics out and available to as many people as possible.

I am also passionate about helping to train people in the IFS model and doing what I can to help people learn it deeply and thoroughly, and I want to see it used outside of psychotherapy. I want to do this in a way that is affordable and accessible to people with little or no background in psychotherapy.

“Bob Falconer taught a series of 10 sessions with us via zoom for over 300 participants in China. This class is included lecturing, demos and Q&As and has been very well received. Bob has an in-depth mastery of the IFS model and a clear, concise, and compassionate way of illustrating it to the audience. We see him as a great IFS teacher, practitioner, and ambassador.”

Hailan X. X. Guo, PhD, founder and Chief Supervisor of Hailan Family Wellbeing.

“Bob brings such clarity and heart to this work and as a model for his commitment to working with his own parts. Whether sharing a wealth of knowledge through his writing and teaching or supervising others, learning from and with Bob is always a gift.”

Paul Ginter, EdD, IFS lead trainer.
